WOW Hall Rummage Sale, Eugene Sunday Streets, GRRRLZ Rock Stage

On Sunday, September 22, the City of Eugene hosts Eugene Sunday Streets Downtown from 12 - 4 pm.  The day will kick off with the EUG Parade from 11 am- 12 pm and the route will include a loop around 8th Avenue, Monroe Street, Broadway, and Oak Street.  There will be Activity Centers at the Park Blocks, Monroe Park, and Kesey Square.


The corner of 8th and Lincoln features the GRRRLZ Rock Stage, brought to the community by Music Education & Performing Artists Association (MEPAA). 




12:00 – 12:30       Olivia Rose: Amazing youth duo with talented grrrlz that sing and play from their hearts! 

12:30 – 1:00         Village School Marimba Band:  School band playing Marimbas from Village School.

1:00 – 1:30                        Naomi Ariel: Soulful musician playing all the classics with a huge voice and skillful guitar moves.

1:30 – 1:45                        Eugene Bhangra: Inspiring dance troop of all ages and so much fun to enjoy and dance along with!

2:00 – 2:30           The Different: Youth band playing old school rock and blues songs that everyone loves! 

2:30 – 2:45                        Wild Lotus Bellydancing: Beautiful dancers with real bodies and really gorgeous moves!

2:45 – 3:00           Xcape Dance: Hip-hop dance troop with grooves! 

3:00 – 3:25            Tomato is a youth DJ that drops sick beats wherever she goes. 

3:30 – 4:00           Sirens Of the Next Generation (S.O.N.G.) is a youth rock band that is made up of Grrrlz Rock program participants at various levels and come together to show what our music programs can create for young musicians. 


The WOW Hall Rummage Sale runs from 1o:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Admission is FREE!  Adult refreshments are available Sunday from noon to 5:00 pm.  For more information please call 541-687-2746.
